Looking for free family entertainment in your own back yard? Neighborhood Nights concerts are every Wednesday from 6:30 to 8pm June 18-August 13.

Each event also features free popcorn, family-friendly games, a close-up of an Urbana fire truck or police squad car, opportunities to speak with park district and city officials, information about the U-Cycle program, and a chance to sign up for the Urbana Free Library’s summer reading program.

The public is encouraged to bring blankets and lawn chairs.

July 23: Dixieland Jazz with New Orleans Jazz Machine is on tap at Crestview Park.

July 30: Get nostalgic with the Lugnutz, covering some of your favorite oldies classics at AMBUCS Park.

August 6: Come to Carle Park to see Central Illinois blues veterans, Blues Deacons' perform.

August 13: The Surreal Deal will bring back the sounds of 70s rock at Meadowbrook Park on August 13.
