Chief Shemauger Park, established in 1973, is located in the 100 block of Kerr Avenue in Urbana, just east of Cunningham. This park will change over the next few years as a new master plan is being developed. A new planning and operations building is under construction in teh east end of the park. It will be open in early 2012. The west end of the park will remain public space.
