Enter Best In Show Competition Now
11th Annual Best In Show Photographic Print Competition Seeks Entries
Whether you prefer to take pictures of people, pets or places, you are encouraged to enter your best photos in the 2012 Best In Show Photographic Print Competition. The joint program of the Urbana Park District and the Champaign County Camera Club offers non-professional photographers the opportunity to have their prints publicly exhibited and professionally judged, and encourages local amateur photographers’ pursuit of artistic pastimes.
The early bird deadline is noon on February 4 and the final deadline is noon on February 11. Each individual may enter up to three 11"x14" matted prints.
This year’s categories are:
• Animals
• Architecture
• Black and White
• General
• Manipulated
• Nature
• People
• Youth
Entries will be on public display in Urbana’s Lincoln Square February 18-26. Judges will select one best in show winner as well as a second and third place from each category. Cash and other prizes will be awarded.
