Activities: Join us for FUN energetic dances with great live string-band music on a beautiful sprung-wood floor. All dances are taught by our callers. Experienced dancers will welcome you and other new dancers. No partner or experience is necessary. Contra Dancing is the American descendant of English Country Dancing and has figures similar to those from square dancing (swing, do-si-do, etc).
Bring an additional pair of clean, soft-soled shoes to protect the floor. Please refrain from wearing perfume or cologne. Admission fee pays for our callers, bands, and dance hall.
