Neighborhood Nights Concert (details)

Music from Blue Deacons.

Neighborhood Nights are a summertime tradition featuring live music played by some of our local professionals along with free popcorn and lemonade and family activities right in your neighborhood. Look for the park closest to you, or join us at every concert. Discover a new park you’ve never visited and relax while we provide the entertainment. Bring your blankets and lawn chairs, bring a picnic dinner, bring the family and spend the night with us!

Each Neighborhood Night features:
* The very best local musicians
* Games and activities for families and kids
* Kids can get a close-up look at an Urbana fire truck or an Urbana Police squad car
* Meet City of Urbana officials and talk to them about your neighborhood

Public Meeting - Outdoor Pool Planning (details)

Work continues on a concept plan for an aquatic facility to replace Crystal Lake Pool. You are invited to see the plan and offer comment at one of two public meetings on Tuesday, October 26 at the Phillips Recreation Center from 11am-1pm or 5-6:30pm.

Strawberry Jam 2012 (details)

Summer is a time to take it slow and easy. There’s no better way to celebrate that feeling than with live music and your favorite summertime treat! Enjoy musical performances by local bluegrass musicians and taste fresh strawberries over ice cream (while supplies last).

This free summer event features a hayrack ride through the park and guided prairie tours. Don’t forget your blanket or lawn chairs! Parking is available at the Stone Creek Church at the corner of Windsor Road and Race Street. 4-5pm Grass Roots Revival

Summer Co-Rec Kickball (details)

Start your weekend out right and enjoy the fun, laid back atmosphere of Adult Kickball. Get a team of at least four males and four females together for a six-game round-robin schedule,followed by a season-ending single elimination tournament. Athleticism is optional! Teams must submit a completed roster and full payment with registration. Mandatory Managers Meeting: Th, May 24, 6pm at Brookens Gymnasium.

Urbana Indoor Aquatic Center annual maintenance closure (details)

The Urbana Indoor Aquatic Center will be closed for annual cleaning and maintenance on these dates. The pool is cleaned and drained and thoroghly cleaned at this time. Pool systems are also checked and repaired No refunds are given during this time. Two weeks are added to pool pass holder memberships for this time.
