Programs that are available for registration:
Creative Senior Connections with Family Service
Looking for a supportive group to be yourself, share stories, and express yourself creatively? We explore creative expression through writing, visual art, rhythm, movement, drama, guided meditation and more. Create for the joy of the process rather than for the end product. No art experience or skill required!
Wits Workout with CRIS Healthy Aging
This brain health program is perfect for any older adult looking to keep their wits sharp. Each session facilitates an important topic related to brain health. Complete puzzles and intellectual challenges, get to know the group you’re playing with, and spend a little time reminiscing with new friends.
Afternoon Karaoke Sing-Along with Tea
Join Jake Johnston, local music teacher and performer, as he leads an Age-Friendly Karaoke Party and sing-along! Participants will experience a judgement-free singing extravaganza complete with microphones, noisemakers, and, of course, free refreshments! Pick from artists such as Elvis, the Beatles, Aretha Franklin, or any other prominent 50s and 60s group you know and love. Decibels will be capped at a safe, but easy to hear, 80dB. Over-the-ear headphones will be provided, upon request.
