Kids from birth through age five can enjoy the Urbana Park District’s Crystal Lake Park Family Aquatic Center this weekend at the special Teeny Tiny Beach Party.

The party is Saturday, July 20, from 9 – 11 a.m. Parents must accompany their kids to this event.

“This is a special event for our littlest ones,” said Leslie Radice, Aquatics Manager at Urbana Park District. “The pool will be open only for the beach party, so the kids can have fun with kids their own age.”

The leisure pool, stream bed and sand play areas will be open for the kids during the party. “Also, there will be some special guests on hand to party with the kids,” Radice added.

The cost is $20 per couple and $7 for each additional person. People can also buy tickets at the gate for the beach party. Cost at the gate is $25 per couple and $7 for each additional person.

Crystal Lake Park Family Aquatic Center will open for the general public Saturday at 11 a.m.
