Urbana Park District invites people age 18 and older to sign up for a book club geared especially for millennials.

The book club meets on Zoom this spring.

People will read six book between January 27 and March 3. Then the club will meet online every two weeks to discuss the book they just ready.

The park district will deliver the books to each person to keep.

It costs $40 to register and people need to sign up by January 25. If people would rather borrow the book from the library, the park district will send a reading list, they can borrow the book, and join the Zoom discussion for free.

“Anyone over the age of 18 is invited to join in, even if they are not technically a millennial,” said Niki Hoesman, Community program coordinator. She added, “I am hopeful that folks will join to get to know their neighbors and engage is discussion.”
