Urbana Park District invites the public to get into the Halloween spirit with a pumpkin-carving party Saturday, October 26, from 3:30 – 5:30 p.m., at Phillips Recreation Center.
“People can bring their own pumpkins and we’ll provide the carving tools, towels and bowls to contain the mess,” said Niki Hoesman, Community Program Coordinator.
It costs $2 per-person to come to the party.
“Please register online or call us at (217) 367-1544 to let us know you’re coming and so we have enough equipment and tools for you. We’ll also have light refreshments,” Hoesman added.
“We’re excited to have the pumpkin-carving party this coming Saturday,” Hoesman said. “Everyone is welcome and we look forward to seeing many people.”
