Kids love to swim during the fall and winter. And, it’s a great way to get the wiggles out. Urbana Indoor Aquatic Center is an excellent option for kids and their families who want to have a unique celebration during colder weather.

“We are offering private rentals at this time,” said Jennifer Nierenhausen, Aquatics Specialist. She added, “All of our rentals follow our covid-19 safety guidelines.”

According to health department rules, Urbana Indoor Aquatic Center can have 50 people in the facility (including park district staff).

“People can swim and use our party room. It’s a fun party alternative during a season when people don’t normally swim,” Nierenhausen said.

All private rentals will have life guards on duty.

“People can rent the facility and swim in two-hour time slots,” Nierenhausen explained.

It costs:

$105/hour up to 15 guests
$140/hour 16-30 guests
$170/hour 31-45 guests

The fee lessens if there is only one pool rented. Guests include swimmers and non-swimmers.
