Celebrate Earth Day, meet Earth-friendly folks and engage with hands-on displays and activities for all ages. Co-sponsored by the Urbana Park District, Faith in Place and C/U Interfaith Alliance, the event will feature displays and reports from Faith in Place partners in and around Champaign and Urbana. There will be screening of "Save the Earth!" short films in which children (age 6 and up) can travel through forests and the cosmos, animated dreamscapes, funny animal adventures, and stories about scientists, just to end up back at home, ready to change our environmental future. Buy raffle tickets for $1 each and enter to win a compost bin or rain barrel. Before the Expo, enjoy a tour of the new Friendship Grove Nature Playscape and guided nature play activities outside!
