Tara Beveroth, Ornithologist, and Dave Enstrom, retired Ornithologist with the Illinois Natural History Survey, will be onside mist netting and banding birds. This is a great opportunity to see up-close how scientists catch, study and release wildlife. This program is free, but donations are encouraged to help the nature center feed the birds. Your financial donation and/or donation of sunflower or mixed birdseed will gratefully be accepted!
