UIAC is a partnership between the Urbana School District and the Urbana Park District. It is open to everyone during public swim time with a paid admission, punch card membership card. During public swim, the water spray toys and water slides are turned on. Lap swim times are for individuals age 15 and up who wish to swim for exercise. Attend Urbana Park District water exercise classes by registering and paying for a specific program. The UIAC is also home to the Urbana Park District swim lesson program and PE programs. Local swim team practices and meets special events, birthday parties and private rentals are also held here

The leisure pool at the Urbana Indoor Aquatic Center will be open for you and your child to wade and explore during this special open swim for children up through age 5 and their parents/guardians. Parking At urbana indoor aquatic center
The designated spaces for parking at the Urbana Indoor Aquatic Center are lined in BLUE. Any person who parks in spots that are not lined in blue may be towed. The other spaces in this parking lot are reserved for Urbana School District Employees. If you have any questions about where you should park, please see a Shift Manager at the facility.

SWIM LESSONS
The Urbana Park District is an independent authorized provider of Starfish Swimming. Starfish Swimming is a nationally recognized swim instruction curriculum developed by the Starfish Aquatics Institute(SAI). Learn more about SAI at http://www.starfishaqatics.org
Early registration is encouraged. A wait list may be started for programs that fill quickly. The deadline is one week before the session begins. Instructors and supervisors evaluate participants to place them in the appropriate level. New participants will be tested and placed in the proper class. Register online for swim lessons.
PARTIES/RENTALS
Party Package
There is a special party room waiting for you at UIAC. Swim and use the room for a 2-hour time slot during public hours. When calling 217-384-7665 for reservation information, ask about the discount for supervising adults. On the day of the party, be sure to provide the cashier with a list of names of party attendees. A $75 damage deposit is due at the time of request.
1-15 participants $125. Ask a staff member about having more than 15 participants.
Private Rentals
When you rent the UIAC before or after public hours, it includes unlimited swimming, use of the party area and use of the facility. Lifeguards are provided. A $75 damage deposit is due at the time of request.
