Want to get started camping ... but don't know where to start? What equipment do you need? What is essential and what is an expensive luxury you won't use? What is the best ground to camp on? How do you keep critters from invading your tent?

Urbana Park District is ready to help get you started on camping adventures. Intro to camping is Saturday, October 14, from 1 - 3 p.m., at Anita Purves Nature Center. Pay $8 if you register by September 30, $10 if you register after that.

Everyone age 15 and up are welcome to register for the class.
