Age-Friendly strengthening class offered this spring at Urbana Park District

People age 50 and better have an opportunity to gain strength and mobility this spring and summer with the class "Senior Strengtheners." 

The class meets at Phillips Recreation Center Tuesdays and Thursday from 9 - 9:30 a.m., beginning May 12 and running through June. People can use light weights to build muscle, strength, and tone the body. The class will end with stretching. Senior Strengtheners can also help people improve flexibility and mobility.

Sign up by April 26 for an early bird discount - $51 for residents and $77 for non-residents.
