Every adult needs a little whimsy in their life. On September 11, Anita Purves Nature Center is offering Whimsy for Adults: Learning Plants Through Play. The program runs from 6 - 7 p.m. This is a new park district program!
On September 11, come to the nature center and connect with people and the plants around you. Focus on the cool shapes, weird sounds, fuzzy textures, and suitability for throwing at one's friends! Learn plant names and leave with techniques for more exploration.
The evening is for people ages 18 and up, and costs $3 for residents and $5 for non-residents.
