Recently the Urbana Park District's Anita Purves Nature Center, participated with Urbana School District and the Champaign County Forest Preserve District to put on a nature program at Thomas Paine Elementary School.
Do you know that the nature center is available to put on nature and environmental programming for the public? That educational programming can be either at the nature center or at schools and other events. People can learn about plants and animals. They also might be able to see a live owl, turtle or snake!
