Mark your calendars now for a chance to practice a second language November 6 at the Health & Wellness Center.
Conversation Café offers a relaxed space to practice English, Spanish, or French. Participants alternate between their target and native language to help one another learn. Light snacks and drinks will be provided.
This is a free event, and all ages are invited.
Conversation starters and games will help ease introductions, and children’s activities will be available so caregivers can join in. This program is a partnership between The Urbana Free Library and Urbana School District’s Multilingual Department.
Conversation Café meets from 5:30 - 6:15 p.m., at the Health & Wellness Center on November 6 and December 4.
