Enjoy a relaxing and peaceful evening at the Lake House in Crystal Lake Park for the symphony version of the Candlelight Serenade. The evening is from 8:30 - 10 p.m., September 4. The park district is partnering with 40 North, the City of Urbana Arts and Culture Program and the CU Symphony.
The symphony ensemble will play beautiful music under the twinkling lights. People can sit on the patio and vibe with the music, or take an evening paddle boat ride on the lake and take in the breath-taking sights.
People can rent at boat for $25 (seats up to four people) for a 30-minute ride on a first come, first served basis. A string quartet will provide the music all evening. People can also buy a ticket for $10 and simply sit on the patio, listen to the music, and enjoy the evening.
