You all are invited to celebrate different cultures September 9, from 5 - 7 p.m., at Anita Purves Nature Center.
In Asia, Autumn is a time to celebrate the season and spend time with family. In Urbana and across the country, many families continue cultural traditions and create new ones along the way.
Come on out to the nature center on September 9. Everything is free and all ages are welcome!
There will be activities representing the traditions of several countries in Asia, mooncake tasting, and story times. The event welcomes everyone to learn about and respectfully take part in different cultural traditions and also take time to be grateful for family.
There is not registration necessary. Just come as you are, ready to celebrate and learn!
