When you get the chance, be sure to check out South Ridge Park, in southeast Urbana. Workers refurbished the park, and it boasts more accessibility and better walking paths.
In March, workers replaced the asphalt path with a wider concrete path. Workers also built four new bench pads and road-accessible parking stalls off of Myra Ridge Drive.
The park district is happy with the park improvements for the community. We hope you enjoy the upgraded South Ridge Park. It, like all park district parks, are open dawn until dusk.
