Everyone is invited to an Urbana Park District tradition on Thanksgiving morning. It is our free 58th Annual Turkey Trot at Crystal Lake Park.
The Turkey Trot is a one-mile fun run, walk, or roll. It is a perfect way to get some movement in before enjoying a Thanksgiving meal. Arrive starting at 8 a.m. Register for raffle prizes and purchase a 2025 Turkey Trot t-shirt.
The trot steps off at 9 a.m. The first 800 finishers get a ribbon. Stick around for hot chocolate and a raffle drawing after the trot.
This is a free event. The park district is taking donations that day for the Youth Scholarship Fund. This fund will help offset the cost of summer camps and allow more kids to attend camp.
