Everyone is invited to the free, 26th annual, Martin Luther King Jettie Rhodes Day.
Jettie Rhodes Day is Saturday, June 22, from 1 - 4 p.m., at King Park on Wascher Drive.
Mrs. Jettie Rhodes founded this day. Mrs. Rhodes had a famous quote: "Who’s your neighbor?" This day is all about giving back to the community with fun, family, networking, and a diverse atmosphere.
Be sure to check out the new Peace Poll at King Park. And enjoy free food (while supplies last), games, kids activities, live music, raffle prizes and a wealth of information from local non-profit organizations.
Call (217) 367-1544 for more information. The event goes on rain or shine. All are welcome to Jettie Rhodes Day on June 22!
