You can play pickleball Monday - Friday at the Urbana Park District Health & Wellness Center. The gym is set up for pickleball players at that time and everyone age 15 and up is welcome. Open gym for pickleball is 9 a.m. - Noon.
The Health & Wellness Center is at 2002 E. Washington Street, located between the Brookens Center and Preston William Elementary School.
It is a perfect opportunity to drop in, play in a relaxed atmosphere, hone skills and meet fellow pickleball enthusiasts. It costs $5 at the door. A Health & Wellness membership is actually a cheaper option for people who come to open gym often.
