Merge your love of the outdoors with a love reading at the Walker's Book Club on December 7, from 9 - 10 a.m., at Meadowbrook Park.
Meet at Meadowbrook Park at the Race Street Entrance. The club will walk for a half hour and then each can share the book they are reading (good and bad!) and recommend different books to the group. The park district will offer free hot cocoa.
This is a free event, but the park district recommends registering so organizers can tell how many are coming. Call Kern at (217) 255-8601 for more information.

Walkers Book Club
Hit your stride with the Walkers’ Book Club. Once a month, we invite you to us as we come together at an Urbana Park to walk together for about half an hour. Then we'll gather to drink lemonade or hot cocoa and share what we've been reading. Each month will have a few themed suggestions, but we hope you'll share the best (and worst!) of what you've read lately.
Registration is recommended, but not required. Please register by the Friday before each meeting. Registered participants will receive reminders.
