Busey Woods has a rich history. You have the chance to learn that history, and experience nature's beauty, for free September 19.
Come to the Anita Purves Nature Center on September 19, from 4 - 7 p.m. The nature center's Connor Ross will tell you about the natural (and unnatural!) history of Busey Woods. Held in collaboration with Champaign County History Museum, expect a history presentation, animals, and guided walks through the Woods on an accessible boardwalk for one-third of a mile.
