The National Recreation and Park Association has designated July as Park and Recreation Month.
It is a month where we invite the public to discover (or rediscover) the "Power of Parks."
Earlier this month, Urbana Mayor DeShawn Williams stopped by our free Neighborhood Nights Concert to read an official city proclamation recognizing the special month.
Be sure to get out this month -- and year-round -- and discover the "Power of Parks!"
