Learn to become a naturalist in your neighborhood during the free CNC iNaturalist Training April 16, at Anita Purves Nature Center

Learn how to use the iNaturalist app for the upcoming City Nature Challenge! iNaturalist is a free educational app that contributes to community science.

Nature Center staff will train you how to use the iNaturalist app, and then you can practice using the app outside (weather permitting).

This is a great way for you to connect with other nature lovers and help document and track nature in our community.

While free, please register by April 4, so we can now how many to anticipate. Call the nature center at (217) 384-4062 for more information, or email Connor at cjross@urbanaparks.org.  People can also sign up at the link below.

City Nature Challenge iNaturalist Training

Join us at the Anita Purves Nature Center for a training on using the iNaturalist app for the upcoming City Nature Challenge (Apr 24-27)! iNaturalist is a free educational app that contributes to community science.
