With spring weather approaching, Urbana Park District has a program to help you identify blooming trees once the buds burst forth. "Spring Tree ID" is April 7, from 4-5:30 p.m., and is free.
Horticulture Educator Ryan Pankau of UI Extension will lead the session at the Anita Purves Nature Center. Learn about the characteristics of local trees and their blooms. Learn how to identify the trees as they start to bud and practice your new skills in Busey Woods.
