The next Walker's Book Club is coming up November 2, at Meadowbrook Park from 9 - 10 a.m. This is a free event and all are invited.
Enter Meadowbrook Park off of the Race Street entrance. The club will walk for a half hour and then each can share the book they are reading (good and bad!) and recommend different books to the group. The park district will offer free lemonade or hot cocoa.
While free, the park district recommends registering so organizers can plan ahead. Call Kern at (217) 367-1544 for more information about the Walker's Book Club. Come on out to Meadowbrook Park for a walk and to talk about a good (or bad) read!
Walkers Book Club
Hit your stride with the Walkers’ Book Club. Once a month, we invite you to us as we come together at an Urbana Park to walk together for about half an hour. Then we'll gather to drink lemonade or hot cocoa and share what we've been reading. Each month will have a few themed suggestions, but we hope you'll share the best (and worst!) of what you've read lately.
Registration is recommended, but not required. Please register by the Friday before each meeting. Registered participants will receive reminders.
