Urbana Park District is hiring a director for Youth Summer Theatre.
The Youth Summer Theatre Director will develop and run the Youth Summer Theatre program at the Phillips Recreation Center for youth ages 8-18. The director will coordinate and oversee the cast, programming of our full-scale musical and/or theatrical play productions, and hiring of the creative staff.
Each child who auditions receives a role in our production, as well as positions on set and stage crew as needed. It is our goal to provide young actors with a quality theatre experience as well as a fun summer activity.
