High school students in grades 9 - 12 can keep their baseball skills sharp this fall by registering for the Fall Wood Bat League.
The games are Sundays from September 8 - October 13. The games are double headers and each team plays 12 games during the season. Games start either at 10:30 a.m., or 2:30 p.m., at Prairie Park or surrounding baseball fields.
The park district will provide bats and jerseys.
Register by August 23 for an early bird discount: $101 for residents and $113 for non-residents. Register by calling (217) 367-1544 or online at urbanaparks.org/register.
