Sign your 11 - 15-year-old up for the Safe Sitter babysitting class on November 8, at Phillips Recreation Center.
This nationally certified course is taught is a friendly, interactive environment and is for people in grades 6 - 9. The class shows participants safe and nurturing childcare techniques, behavior management skills, and appropriate responses to medical emergencies. Class materials are included in the fee.
It costs $25 to attend this class, $30 for non-residents. The park district is offering financial assistance for those who need it.
