Get ready — Camp Registration Day is coming! Urbana Park District will officially launch registration for Summer 2026 camps at 8 a.m. on February 7, 2026, giving families a dedicated, high-energy kickoff to start planning an unforgettable summer.
Registration for all other programs and classes—fitness, aquatics, community events, and more—opens December 3, 2025 as usual. But camps get their own spotlight with this special launch day celebration.
“We’re introducing a dedicated Camp Registration Day to give families a clear, fun moment to jump in and plan their summers,” said Corky Emberson, Superintendent of Recreation. “It also aligns with what many other park districts are doing.”
Starting at 8 a.m. on February 7, families can register:
- Online: UrbanaParks.org
- By phone: Call Phillips Recreation Center at (217) 367-1544 from 8 a.m.–noon
- In person: Phillips Recreation Center (505 W. Stoughton, Urbana), Anita Purves Nature Center, or the Health & Wellness Center
A quick note: Phone registrations require full payment at the time of registration. Families who need a payment plan may register online or in person at Phillips Recreation Center.
“We hope this special launch day makes registration easier, more convenient, and maybe even a little exciting,” Emberson added. “Everyone is welcome to join in and secure their spot for an amazing 2026 camp season.”
