We can all agree that teaching is a thankless, tiring, and rewarding job. At the end of the school year, teachers can be tired and ready for a rest. Urbana Park District is offering a Rest for Teachers on Sunday, June 7, from 2 - 3:30 p.m., at the Health & Wellness Center.
On that day, come to the Health & Wellness Center and go on a journey of gentle movement, journaling, and guided meditation followed by a comfy group nap with pillows, blankets, and bolsters.
Rest for Teachers costs $5 for residents and $7 for non-residents. All teachers and support staff from all school districts are welcome.
