Sign your young person up now for soccer this Spring at Urbana Park District.
Sharkey's Soccer is for kids ages 4 - 6. Sign up by March 16 for an early bird discount - $29 for residents and $41 for non-residents. The field and ball are modified for the kids' ages. Everyone plays and gets a t-shirt. Kids learn rules, ball-handling and teamwork.
Youth Soccer is for kids in grades 1 - 9. Sign up by March 9 for an early bird discount - $31 for residents and $46 for non-residents. Teams practice one day a week and play games on Saturdays. Practice sites are at various locations around Urbana. Kids learn soccer skills, rules, and the value of teamwork and sportsmanship.
Depending on league, the season starts in late March and runs through early May.
Park district youth soccer is a great way to learn teamwork, make new friends, and build community - for both kids and adults!
Volunteers coach all teams. Call Kyle at (217) 255-8601 if you want to volunteer your time to help local youth learn soccer.
