Urbana Park District invites all pickleball-lovers to sign up for the park district's Pickleball League, happening in May and June at the Health & Wellness Center. The league offers three divisions depending on skill and experience level.
Each league will have 12 teams of two, with the top teams advancing to a single elimination tournament at the end of the season. Matches will be best of three games, self-officiated with staff on hand to assist, and held at the Health and Wellness Center. Nets and balls will be provided. Players are encouraged to bring their own paddles, as there are a limited number of loaners available.
Register a team by April 23 and pay the $75 early bird price. Email Alex at achiggs@urbanaparks.org for more information. Call (217) 255-8601 to register or sign up online at the link below. The league runs from May 5 - June 25.
