Everyone age 15 and older is invited to sign up for Mat Pilates at Urbana Park District.
Mat Pilates are Tuesday and Thursday evenings at the Health & Wellness Center, 2002 E. Washington Street, Urbana.
Through various movements and controlled breathing, Mat Pilates helps to develop core strength, balance, and flexibility. This is a great low-impact exercise which can improve your cardiovascular capacity, ease of movement during your everyday activities, better posture, and more body awareness. All abilities can do this exercise!
