Does your young child like to dance? If so, Urbana Park District ballet classes might be a fit for them.
The park district offers ballet classes for kids ages 3 - 4, ages 4 - 5, and ages 5 - 6. All classes are Saturday mornings at Phillips Recreation Center.
The cost is between $45 and $76 depending on age and if the child is a resident or non-resident. Young dancers will learn basic ballet techniques that will lay the foundation for further classes. Children are free to wear any comfortable and movable clothing, ballet shoes or bare feet.
