Pollinators are vital for nature and the entire planet. The biggest pollinators are bees - an insect that can cause anxiety for some. The program "Don't Bee Afraid" is geared to those who want to learn more about pollinators and possibly get over the fear of bees.
"Don't Bee Afraid" is May 18, from 1 - 2:30 p.m., at Anita Purves Nature Center. Knowledge and exposure can help mitigate fears, so we’ll be learning about these important animals and their contributions to our ecosystems while getting an up-close look at certain examples.
Call David at (217) 384-4062 for more information or to sign up. Or register online at urbanaparks.org/register. While free, please register so the park district knows how many are attending.
All are welcome to "Don't Bee Afraid" May 18!
