Bird watchers and nature lovers get the chance to look for their favorite winged creatures this spring at Urbana Park District.
Sunday Morning Bird Walks run every Sunday from March 1 - May 31, from 7:30 - 9 a.m. It is free for everyone. Each walk begins at Anita Purves Nature Center.
Meet up in the nature center parking lot and look for birds in Busey Woods and Crystal Lake Park. Be sure to bring your binoculars. The nature center has a few available for loan. Call (217) 384-4062 for more information. The bird walks are lead by a member of the Champaign County Audubon Society.
All ages are welcome (under 15 with an adult).
