Do you like bird watching? Are you a beginner? Or are you a veteran birder? You have the chance to go on bird walks every Sunday for the free Sunday Morning Bird Walks.
The bird walks at Every Sunday from September 6 - October 25, from 7:30 - 9 a.m., beginning at Anita Purves Nature Center.
Meet up in the nature center parking lot and look for birds in Busey Woods and Crystal Lake Park. Be sure to bring your binoculars. The nature center has a few available for loan. Call (217) 384-4062 for more information. The bird walk leaders are members of the Champaign County Audubon Society.
All ages are welcome (under 15 with an adult).
