Teens in grades 6 - 12 are busy this summer as they volunteer to help keep our parks clean and healthy. The FRESH Crew is on the job.
The teen FRESH Crew Volunteer Days are select Saturdays from 9:30 - 11:30 a.m.
During these days, teens volunteers will clear brush, collect seed, scatter seed and help beautify park district land.
It's a great way to meet new friends, learn new skills, learn about the environment, and complete service hours for school. There is no registration required.
The volunteer days are:
- July 18 - Busey Woods
- August 1 - Victory Park
- August 15 - Busey Woods
- August 29 - Crystal Lake Park
