Teens are welcome to make a difference in the community and improve nature and this environment December 7, at Urbana Park District.
Meet at the Perkins Wet Prairie (right next to the dog park), from 2 - 4 p.m. The crew will remove invasive plants, collect good prairie plant seed, spread seed, care for the community gardens and clean up park spaces.
The Perkins Wet Prairie is an emerging natural area in Urbana and the FRESH crew can help it become even more special.
This day is free and no registration is required. Just show up and be ready to make a meaningful difference in your community.
