Like owls? Want to learn more about owls? Want to look for owls in the wild? Then sign up for the Urbana Park District Owl Prowls in February and March, at Anita Purves Nature Center.
The Owl Prowl for all is Friday, February 27. The Adults Only Owl Prowl is Saturday, March 7. Both prowls are from 5 - 7 p.m.
The group will go looking for owls by walking through Busey Woods. Afterward, warm up in the nature center for a hot drink, dissect owl pellets, and get all your owl questions answered. Dress for wet conditions. The Owl Prowl for All participants will get the chance to meet Lightning, our resident screech owl!
