Urbana Park District wants public input on its next Strategic Plan. The next plan would run from 2027 - 2031.
Over 1,000 people participated in the 2020 Strategic Plan, which helped make the plan a success. The only way a strategic plan for the park district can work is if the community give their opinions. "Urbana's parks belong to all of us - and so does the plan that shapes them," said Rachel Lenz, Executive Director.
The survey takes 10 - 12 minutes to complete. The park district will take public input through July 1. Planners will then compile survey results, which will help steer the next strategic plan.
