Urbana Park District invites people age 50 and better to a free Rules of the Road meeting on December 5 from 9 – 10:30 a.m., at Phillips Recreation Center.

“This is a free event and people don’t need to register – just drop in,” said Jacob Johnston, Age-Friendly Resource Coordinator.

The Illinois Secretary of State’s office is partnering with the park district for the event. “People will learn the latest driving laws, and review traffic-control signs,” Johnston explained.

He continued, “This is a great chance for seasoned drivers to polish their skills, keep on top of changing laws and have fellowship with each other.”

We hope to see many people at Phillips Recreation Center on December 5, for the free Rules of the Road presentation. It is a fun and informative hour,” Johnston concluded.
