People in grades 6 - 12 are encouraged to give back to the community, learn new skills and make new friends this summer as part of the FRESH Crew Teen Nature Workdays. 

FRESH Crew meets weekly to remove invasive species, plant native plants, garden in community gardens, or harvest seeds. In addition, we host guest speakers and spend time in Urbana’s natural areas.

The crews meet at a different park each Tuesday from June 6 to August 8, from 9 - 11 a.m. 

All are welcome! FRESH Crew helps members build connections with nature and their community, make new friends, and learn about the natural world. This program also provides hands-on experience for students interested in working in nature, such as at a National Park, in a research lab, or on a restoration crew.

No registration is required, just show up to as many workdays is you can! Teens need an adult signature to give permission to participate in the program.
