Park Field Rental Request Form

Rental Requests

Rental requests should be made at least two weeks in advance. 

Ballfields are available at the following parks when not in use for UPD activities:

  • AMBUCS – Ball Field (lights available)
  • Blair Park – Ball Field
  • Brookens – Soccer Field
  • Canaday Park – Ball Field (lights available)
  • Chief Shemauger – Ball Field
  • Lohmann Park – Multipurpose Field / Cricket Pitch
  • Prairie Park – Ball Field
  • Weaver Park – Multipurpose Field

Call 217-255-8601 to discuss set-up options and for more information. All rentals require a $100 deposit. 

Request packets are available at the Health and Wellness Center and by e-mail. Or download a rental packet. You must complete a request and return it to the Health and Wellness Center with a $100 damage deposit. Requests are only accepted when the request form and deposit have both been received. Preferably, at least two weeks advance notice should be given to reserve Outdoor Fields. Staff will try to accommodate requests with less notice if the space and staffing are available. 

After you submit your form and deposit, the Athletics Supervisor must then approve your request. After you are called with approval, you will receive a receipt, your permit and paperwork copies. No requests are approved without a call from the Supervisor.

Fees

Field Packages Without Field Prep Including Field Prep
Silver Package $20 for 1 hour; $10/hour after $130 for 3 hours; $10/hour after
Gold Package - includes lights $60 for 1 hour; $50/hour after $250 for 3 hours; $50/hour after
