For several years, Urbana Park District has offered Noontime fitness classes at Brookens Gym.
For this summer, the Noontime fitness classes will be at Phillips Recreation Center. The park district will offer Boot Camp, Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, and H.I.I.T. Revolution, Tuesdays and Thursdays.
All classes will run from 12 – 12:50 p.m.
Don’t be scared off by Boot Camp. This is a challenging, fun, fast-paced, calorie-blasting workout. It uses cardio and strength exercises.
H.I.I.T. Revolution stands for High Intensity Interval Training. This workout will keep you burning calories long after the workout. The workout uses a person’s own body weight and resistance equipment to improve metabolism, cardiovascular and athletic ability.
Both classes offer modifications to cater to each person’s fitness level.
Register by April 25 for an early-bird discount:
- Boot Camp - $64 for residents and $96 for non-residents
- H.I.I.T. Revolution - $53 for residents and $80 for non-residents
